Under the direction of the Chief Justice, the Judicial Administrator will give advance notice of the proposed sittings of the Court of Appeal in cities other than Ottawa.

The Bar is requested to take account of such proposed sittings when making applications for hearings.

It is proposed that the Court of Appeal sit in the following cities at the following times:

Vancouver:

• January 16 to 19, 2012
• March 5 to 8, 2012

Calgary/Edmonton:

• February 13 to 16, 2012

Winnipeg:

• March 12 to 15, 2012

Toronto:

• January 9 to 12, 2012
• January 23 to 26, 2012
• February 13 to 16, 2012
• February 27 to March 1, 2012
• March 12 to 15, 2012
• March 19 to 22, 2012
• March 26 to 29, 2012

Montréal:

• January 16 to 19, 2012
• February 27 to March 1, 2012
• March 26 to 29, 2012

Québec:

• January 30 to February 2, 2012

Halifax:

• January 30 to February 2, 2012

Whether or not the Court will sit during these periods depends upon the number and nature of the cases that are ready for that period.
