Under the direction of the Chief Justice, the Judicial Administrator will give advance notice of the proposed sittings of the Court of Appeal in cities other than Ottawa.

The Bar is requested to take account of such proposed sittings when making applications for hearings.

It is proposed that the Court of Appeal sit in the following cities at the following times:

Vancouver:

• March 8 to 11, 2010

Calgary (and possibly Edmonton):

• January 11 to 14, 2010

Edmonton (and possibly Calgary):

• March 22 to 25, 2010

Regina/Saskatoon:

• February 16 to 18, 2010

Winnipeg:

• February 8 to 11, 2010

Toronto:

• January 11 to 14, 2010
• January 18 to 21, 2010
• January 25 to 28, 2010
• February 1 to 4, 2010
• February 16 to 18, 2010
• March 8 to 11, 2010

Montréal:

• January 25 to 28, 2010
• March 22 to 25, 2010

Halifax/Fredericton:

• February 22 to 25, 2010

Whether or not the Court will sit during these periods depends upon the number and nature of the cases that are ready for that period.
