Under the direction of the Chief Justice, the Judicial Administrator will give advance notice of the proposed sittings of the Court of Appeal in cities other than Ottawa.

The Bar is requested to take account of such proposed sittings when making applications for hearings.

It is proposed that the Court of Appeal sit in the following cities at the following times:

Vancouver:

• May 2 to 5, 2011
• June 6 to 9, 2011

Calgary and/or Edmonton:

• May 24 to 26, 2011

Winnipeg:

• June 20 to 23, 2011

Toronto:

• May 2 to 5, 2011
• May 9 to 12, 2011
• May 16 to 19, 2011
• June 6 to 9, 2011
• June 13 to 16, 2011
• June 20 to 23, 2011

Montréal:

• May 24 to 26, 2011
• June 6 to 9, 2011

Québec:

• May 9 to 12, 2011

Halifax and St. John’s:

• May 30 to June 2, 2011

Whether or not the Court will sit during these periods depends upon the number and nature of the cases that are ready for that period.
