Under the direction of the Chief Justice, the Judicial Administrator will give advance notice of the proposed sittings of the Court of Appeal in cities other than Ottawa.

The Bar is requested to take account of such proposed sittings when making applications for hearings.

It is proposed that the Court of Appeal sit in the following cities at the following times:

Vancouver:

• September 19 to 22, 2011
• October 17 to 20, 2011
• November 28 to December 1, 2011

Calgary/Edmonton:

• October 11 to 13, 2011
• December 12 to 15, 2011

Regina/Winnipeg:

• November 14 to 17, 2011

Toronto:

• September 6 to 8, 2011
• September 19 to 22, 2011
• October 3 to 6, 2011
• October 24 to 26, 2011
• October 31 to November 3, 2011
• November 14 to 17, 2011
• November 28 to December 1, 2011
• December 12 to 15, 2011

Montréal:

• September 6 to 8, 2011
• October 17 to 20, 2011
• November 28 to December 1, 2011

Québec:

• October 3 to 6, 2011

Halifax:

• October 31 to November 3, 2011

Fredericton:

• November 14 to 17, 2011

Whether or not the Court will sit during these periods depends upon the number and nature of the cases that are ready for that period.
