Under the direction of the Chief Justice, the Judicial Administrator will give advance notice of the proposed sittings of the Court of Appeal in cities other than Ottawa.

The Bar is requested to take account of such proposed sittings when making applications for hearings.

It is proposed that the Court of Appeal sit in the following cities at the following times:

Vancouver:

• October 18 to 21, 2010
• November 30 to December 2, 2010

Calgary and/or Edmonton:

• November 29 to December 2, 2010

Winnipeg:

• November 8 to 10, 2010

Toronto:

• September 13 to 16, 2010
• September 27 to 30, 2010
• October 12 to 14, 2010
• October 25 to 28, 2010
• November 15 to 18, 2010
• December 6 to 9, 2010
• December 13 to 16, 2010

Montréal:

• October 12 to 14, 2010
• November 1 to 4, 2010
• December 13 to 16, 2010

Québec:

• September 20 to 23, 2010

Halifax and/or Fredericton:

• November 8 to 10, 2010

St. John’s, NL:

• September 22 and 23, 2010

Whether or not the Court will sit during these periods depends upon the number and nature of the cases that are ready for that period.
